Glass oriel bay windows

Glass oriel bay windows make use of a variety of techniques such as frameless structural glass/glazing. This is done to achieve a 3D pop out effect from the side of a building. Oriel Windows have remained a staple of building design for many years. The purpose of these has not changed, however, the technology available to design, manufacture and install them has improved significantly.

Frameless structural glass can be designed to create pop out window boxes, bay windows and more. Most of these designs will have a solid window base which can be used as a viewing platform or window seat. These designs often do not require any framing throughout the glass installation. Glass corners are sealed and joined by using hi tec structural bonding techniques which allows for an all glass pop up window box if required.

One of the core benefits of having structural glazing is the natural light it provides through the building.
